Course Description
The chin receives its anterior projection from the volume of the deep mental fat pad and receives its inferior projection (in parts) from the contractile status of the mentalis muscles. Both projection directions can be influenced with the injection of soft tissue fillers. Based on the laws of injection biomechanics, the injection direction i.e. the injection technique will determine which clinical outcome with be achieved. Learn in this video how to perform both needle-based injection techniques to augment either anterior or inferior projection but at the same time respective safety.
