Glabella

In this course, we explore the glabella and the muscles that contribute to the formation of vertical and horizontal glabellar rhytids: procerus, and corrugator supercilii muscles. We focus on their roles in forming wrinkles, including the "11s," and how they contribute to facial wrinkles and eyebrow dimples. Learn about the structure, function, and anatomical planes of each muscle, including how they affect wrinkle formation between the eyebrows and influence eyebrow position and movement. We discuss how to locate the landmark of the procerus muscle's origin and its connection to the frontalis muscle. The course also includes a clip of an anatomic dissection, offering a clear, visual understanding of these muscles and how they can be precisely targeted during neuromodulator treatments.
