This online course contains a narrated anatomic dissection video provides a comprehensive description and visualization of a crucial facial region: the lateral face. This facial region is special and different from other facial regions as its treatment can improve jawline contouring but also precondition the treatment of the cheeks and the nasolabial folds. This dissection video demonstrates the layers of the lateral face with a focus on key structures, including the transverse facial artery, the masseter muscle, and the zygomaticotemporal artery. The course also reveals the important connection between the external and internal carotid artery systems in the temple and highlights its relevance for deep temporal injections.
