Overview
The aesthetic appearance of the chin zone is determined by the form and by the projection of the underlying mandible. The volume of the overlying soft tissues is therefore a reflection of the underlying bony shape. However, via the administration of soft tissue fillers to the mental soft tissues the shape and the position can be changed. Various techniques exist to change the shape of the chin zone including needle and cannula techniques. In this video, a variety of needle and cannula techniques are demonstrated, and the clinical correlates are explained.
