Overview

This course examines relevant branches of the facial nerve and the multiple arteries emerging from the external carotid artery. Knowing the depth of the muscles of mastication allows one to understand the depth of neuromodulator and soft tissue filler injections when treating bruxism, myofascial pain or when trying to increase the lateral projection of the mandibular angle.
