Overview
A tired facial look and dark circles around the eyes can be a reflection of volume loss of the medial infraorbital region: the tear trough. Soft tissue filler injections have been shown to improve such aesthetic conditions. Given the complex anatomy of the upper midface and of the medial infraorbital region, the tear trough is a technical particularly challenging facial region. In this video, the anatomy is explained in detail following a layer-by-layer dissection. In addition, the deep cannula injection technique in an inferior approach is demonstrated.
