Treating the tear trough deformity is traditionally performed with a cannula in an inferior injection approach. However, for more precise and less traumatic tissue alteration a needle can also be utilized. In this video, the specific needle injection technique for the tear trough is demonstrated using an inferior i.e. coming from the midface.
