Overview
The gold standard for treating horizontal and vertical glabellar rhytids is the intramuscular injection of neuromodulators into the glabellar muscles. However, if the lines are so deep that a toxin treatment is not sufficient anymore to remove the rhytid a soft tissue filler treatment can be performed. In this video, the intradermal needle technique is demonstrated along with a thorough review of the underlying vascular anatomy. This high-risk technique should be only performed by expert injectors due to high-risk profile.
