Professor Sebastian Cotofana, M.D., Ph.D., Ph.D., is recognized globally as the world’s leading anatomist in the field of facial aesthetics.
With extensive research and expertise, he’s a sought-after speaker and influencer in aesthetic research worldwide. After medical studies in Munich, Germany, he pursued surgical training in Trauma Surgery before focusing on anatomic basic sciences and earning dual Ph.D. degrees in Medical Sciences and Anatomy.
He holds multiple honorary professorships at Queen Mary University in London, England, Pirogov University in Moscow, Russia, and in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital, China.
In 2023, Prof. Cotofana was appointed as Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University, TN, USA where he supports the department in research and education.
